AVIEL DAHAN is an entertainment and business-oriented attorney in the firm’s Beverly Hills office. Avi’s practice focuses on the entertainment and media industries with an expertise in transactional matters, contract negotiation, intellectual property and business law. Avi’s clients include recording artists, songwriters, producers, actors, social media-influencers, entrepreneurs, record labels, management companies and other entertainment-industry-related talent and businesses.

Before joining Boyarski Fritz LLP, Avi  operated his own private practice, Dahan Law Group, PC, where he represented numerous clients across many areas of entertainment and various businesses. There, Avi negotiated various entertainment contracts and became a trusted source to his clientele.

 

Before launching his own practice, Avi worked for Johnson & Johnson, LLP, where he assisted in the litigation  of high profile entertainment cases including copyright infringement, defamation, misappropriation and breach of contract claims, on behalf of celebrity recording artists, songwriters, producers, filmmakers, and actors. During law school, Avi worked for Rothenberg P.C. where he focused on music law, as well as Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton’s Entertainment, Technology, and Advertising group, where he assisted in the drafting and negotiation of film and TV agreements.

Prior to law school, Avi worked for William Morris Endeavor, Live Nation, and Columbia Records, gaining a deep understanding of the entertainment industry business.

Avi earned his J.D. from USC Gould School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and was selected for the Order of the Coif. Avi attended Cal State University of Northridge, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and graduated with honors.
